Mangú delight began with a simple goal

Share homemade Dominican food with the people around us. Hector and Walky first started by preparing meals and delivering custom lunch orders to friends, family, and neighbors throughout their community. As word spread, the small lunch route quickly grew and introduced more people to the comfort and flavor of traditional Dominican cooking.

The business later expanded into a food truck that served the local community and helped Mangú Delight reach even more customers. Over time, the company naturally evolved once again.​ Today, Mangú Delight is fully dedicated to catering events across Maryland, Washington DC, and Northern Virginia.

Since 2015, Mangú Delight has proudly catered events for workplaces, community organizations, churches, and private celebrations throughout the DMV.​ From union meetings and government offices to family gatherings and cultural events, the goal has always remained the same. Bring people together over fresh food, warm hospitality, and the joy of sharing a great meal.
